I have just returned from Burlington , Iowa where we had a wonderful time with couples from the area.  Had around 400 in attendance and a great response to the conference.  Thanks to Colleen from First Presbyterian Church and to the Methodist churches in the area who worked together to promote the conference.  It was a cold weekend (-6 degrees), but a warm hearted time for couples.  One couple really encouraged me when they shared that they attended my marriage conference 25 years ago in Davenport , Iowa and that it was the turning point for them, both in their marriage and in their relationship with God.  It is my hope that every conference will be a life changing event for those who attend.

I am excited about the release of the revised editions of The Five Love Languages, The Five Love Languages: Men’s Edition, and The Five Love Languages: Gift Edition.  The latter is a leather type cover which will make an excellent wedding gift.  We are also getting a great response to my new daily devotional book for couples: The One Year Love Language Minute Devotional, published by Tyndale House Publishers.  Love is daily, and I hope that this devotional book will enhance the lives of thousands of couples.
