2.Dr. Chapman is not available to do private counseling sessions. If you are in need of counseling, you have some other good options: 1) ask your insurance provider for a list of counselors for you to choose from; 2) refer to your local phone book for a list of counselors; 3) call a local trusted church and ask if they either provide counseling or refer to any counselors in the area; 4) go to www.aacc.net (American Association of Christian Counselors) and use their database to find a counselor near you; or 5) for a one-time, free consultation, you may contact Focus on the Family’s counseling service by phone at (719) 531-3400 ext. 7700 weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (MST).

3. The publisher has a strict policy about protecting the copyright of the Five Love Languages inventory and will not allow free copies to be distributed under any circumstances. Your best options are to buy a new edition copy of The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate or to buy The Five Love Languages Video Viewer’s Guide. Both of these resources are available at www.marriagevine.com.

4. Most people favor one of the five love languages over the others. However, many people score equally on two of the five love languages, and occasionally, someone will say that they speak more than two of the love languages. Knowing which love language or languages one possesses is only the beginning! Ideally, you and your loved one(s) can use the knowledge of the five love languages to begin and carry on meaningful conversations about how you express love and commitment to one another. The important thing is not which of you speaks the other's love language(s) better but that you both are actively working toward understanding each other better.

5.Technically, your love language(s) should not change over time. However, you may certainly gain more understanding of yourself and your love language(s) over time.

9.There is no official leader training. However, the DVD version of the Five Love Languages does have suggestions for the leader. The DVD is available at LifeWay Christian Stores or on-line at www.marriagevine.com.

10.If your original workshop material generally refers to Dr. Chapman’s books or ideas, then you only need to give him appropriate credit by referencing him and whichever of his books you are citing as the sources of your ideas (please be sure to reference the newest edition of the book you are citing). If you are printing and/or presenting extended portions of any of Dr. Chapman’s written materials that are published by Moody Publishing, then you need to seek official permission from Moody.
